Final shaping and polishing are completed through meticulous hand-finishing, following time-honored Longquan forging methods involving dozens of precise steps.

The saya is crafted from natural hardwood and finished with a distinctive Raindrop lacquer pattern, adding subtle depth and texture. A solid copper habaki is fitted at the blade’s base to ensure secure seating, durability, and smooth draw during use.
