What should I do if I receive a postcard or inquiry from customs?

During international shipping, you may receive a notification (such as a postcard) from customs requesting confirmation of the contents, quantity, or submission of documents. Please respond first in accordance with the submission address, deadline, and required information stated in the notice.

Is this website a “Japanese sword retailer”?

SAMURAI Katana for sale is not a retail store that sells Japanese swords domestically. It provides product information for items handled by overseas sellers and supports the ordering process as a personal import support service (import assistance). The importer (consignee) is the customer.

Please note that the shipping origin may vary depending on the product, stock availability, and shipping method.

What happens in case of issues (customs clearance, delays, damage, etc.)?

Customs clearance approval, taxation, international shipping delays, damage, or loss during transportation are determined by customs authorities and shipping carriers, and therefore we cannot guarantee outcomes.

However, we will provide support within a reasonable scope, such as organizing necessary information, checking tracking status, and assisting with communication with the seller. Please first provide your order number and current status (tracking number or notices received).

Can I purchase items for resale or transfer to others?

No. Personal importation of Japanese swords is limited to personal use only. 転Orders intended for resale or transfer cannot be accepted and may be subject to confirmation inquiries or cancellation.

Can minors place an order?

This service is available to individuals aged 20 or older only. Age verification (such as the presentation of identification) may be required when necessary.

When will my order arrive? Can I track it?

Delivery time from shipment preparation to arrival may vary depending on stock availability, international shipping congestion, customs clearance, and weather conditions. For trackable shipping methods, a tracking number will be provided after shipment.

Please note that tracking updates may be delayed during transitions between international shipping, customs clearance, and domestic delivery.

How much is the shipping fee?

Shipping fees are automatically calculated and displayed on the cart screen. If free shipping campaigns or promotions are available, details will be shown on the cart screen or site banners.

Are customs duties or consumption tax charged?

For personal imports from overseas, customs duties, import consumption tax, and customs clearance fees may apply. These charges are generally borne by the recipient, and the amount or applicability is determined by customs authorities.

If the delivery company provides payment instructions, please follow those instructions.

What happens if I refuse delivery or am unavailable for an extended period?

If a package is returned due to prolonged absence, incorrect address, or refusal of delivery, reshipping fees or other charges may apply. Refund eligibility varies depending on the circumstances (return destination, customs status, shipping arrangements, etc.), so please contact us in advance.

The tracking number is not updating or appears to be inactive.

After issuance, tracking numbers may take some time to become active until the package is collected and scanned. Additionally, tracking updates may temporarily pause during international transit, customs clearance, or the transition to domestic delivery.

If there is no update after 24–48 hours, please contact us with your tracking number and order number.

If I order multiple items, will they arrive separately?

Yes. Depending on the shipping origin or preparation status, orders may be shipped in multiple packages. Items that are ready first may be delivered earlier, resulting in different delivery dates.

Can I return or exchange items?

Due to the nature of the products, returns or exchanges for customer convenience are generally not accepted.。 However, in the case of an initial defect or incorrect shipment, please contact us within approximately 3 days of receiving the item. Please note that support may not be available depending on the condition of the product or the presence of all accessories.

What information is required when reporting an initial defect or missing item?
