The blade is hand-forged from high-performance manganese steel, a material renowned for its exceptional resistance to impact and bending. A bo-hi (fuller) is incorporated to improve balance and swing efficiency.

Following traditional Longquan forging methods, the blade undergoes multiple stages of forging, heat treatment, shaping, and a 13-step hand-polishing process, resulting in a clean, functional finish optimized for practical use.
