This katana is inspired by the Type 98 guntō, featuring a straight chokuto-style blade and a restrained military aesthetic. The blackened manganese steel blade and minimalist mountings create a calm, authoritative presence rooted in modern Japanese military sword design.

The blade is hand-forged from high-performance manganese steel using a four-sided forging process to enhance strength and impact resistance.

A deep blackened finish is applied to the blade body, while the edge is carefully hand-polished to create a sharp contrast between matte black steel and a bright cutting edge.

A reinforced large edge geometry increases cutting power and durability.
